'Monument' studies the human need to physically commemorate; transforming transient moments into a set of coordinates where one can remember.

In these images, commemorative objects moving on a robotic arm are captured using slitscan photography. In each photograph we see time passing from top to bottom, and we witness the objects from every angle. Time and space are condensed into each image as if the objects are being collectively viewed.
